The girls started school a few weeks ago. Jordyn is now is 2nd grade and Allie is in kindergarten. I can't believe how big they are both getting! They have grown up so fast and are so smart. They both loved school! We are so proud of both of them!!

Jordyn is such a good big sister. She helps Allie find where she needs to be everyday.

Here is a huge post about what we have been up to all month! Not in order!!

Allie graduated from preschool! I cant believe how big she is getting. She did really good in preschool and she has learned so much! She is so sweet (most of the time) and keeps us laughing!! She will be turning 5 next month and will be going to kindergarten this fall. We are so proud of her!

Jordyn finished 1st grade and had a music program. She has done really well in school. She reads everything now! She is getting so big. Makes me sad! We are so proud her!!

We went to my niece Taylors dance recital

She looked beautiful and did a great job! Love ya Tay Tay!!

My sister and her family got sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. I'm really happy for them! They are truly an inspiration to me. Love you guys! I only got a couple of pictures. I will post more later...

Jordyn had her last day of dancing. She got a special trophy for being with the same dance company for 5 years!

*Jordyn also tried out for the hip hop competition team this month. They had to go to a lesson 2 nights in a row for an hour and learn a routine. It was a hard routine too! I video taped it so we could practice at home and Aunt Kimmy and I tried doing it with her and it wasn't easy!! Anyway she did great and she made it! She is so excited!!

New Mexico

So for spring break we went to New Mexico to visit family. We took Grandma and Grandpa Crane with us. Not sure how they managed to escape from me as I took pictures! I don't have a single one of them. I will get you guys next time for sure!! Anyway, after a long drive we stopped at hole in the rock (just outside of Moab). It was so cool! An older couple back in the 50's (i think) chiseled there way through the side of this mountain and made it their home. It was very interesting to go through.

Dance Competition & Update

So about a month ago Jordyns dance teacher called me up and said that the owner of the dance studio pulled her aside and she thought we should start a trio with three of her students that really stood out. So of course we had to do it! So these girls have been practicing 2 times a week for about 3 weeks and they are awesome!! In a short time they have learned and perfected a whole dance. So they had a competition this weekend and they did great! We are so proud of her!!

They got an excellent which isn't the highest score but for only practicing for a few weeks they did a great job! She had so much fun waiting for the awards ceremony to start. She got out there and free-styled with all of the other dancers and she was definitely showing off!!

They were so proud of her! It was cute and even though it was late by the time we got out of there, they were all so excited so we went and got ice cream. It was fun!

Allie is just so grown-up lately. She has loved going to preschool. She has learned so much and is ready to go to kindergarten. AHHH!! I'm SO not ready for it! She has come out of her shell a lot since going to school and has started making a list of things she wants to do. Here is her list.

She is so funny! We are so proud of her. She was our shy little girl who didn't want to do anything and now she is making lists! Awesome!

Anyway..There is a little update on what we have been up to! We are getting ready to go on vacation to New Mexico in a week to see family. We are sooo excited!! It will be nice to get away for a while to warmer weather. We cant wait for spring and summer!!

Ok so normally I get a Christmas card sent out. This year it just didn't happen. Sorry! So here are the new family pictures that were supposed to end up on a Christmas card!

We have had a good year for the most part, a few hard times here and there but we are very blessed. The girls are growing up fast! They are so much fun. Jordyn is loving first grade and she is doing great! She knows how to read now and surprises us everyday with how smart she is becoming. She is taking hip hop dancing again this year and is doing great at that as well! Allie has been having so much fun going to preschool. It has been really good for her. She has come out of her shell a lot since she has been going. She is getting so smart and grown up.

Weston and I have just been up to the same old stuff! I run kids around and he stays busy with work. Good thing he loves it! He got a promotion earlier this year that has helped us a lot. We are proud of him!

We had Thanksgiving at my parents house this year. I didn't take very many pictures but here are a few of the kids! I didnt get any of the adults. I'm sure they aren't going to mind at all! I am so thankful for my family and how close we are. We love getting together and we always have so much fun!

Later that evening we went to my sisters new house and watched the cousins do their turkey play that my sister puts on every other year. They were so cute and did a great job! Then we watched the Bronco game which was a good one (thank goodness!) It was a the perfect ending to and already great day!

We took the kids to the pumpkin patch. It was so much fun!

We went to Bear Lake so that Weston could go hunting. He didn't have any luck hunting but, on the way there we saw a moose!

Ok so this is just a small part of what we have been up to this summer but I would be here all day if I went through it all! We have had a fun and busy summer. I have been a total slacker when it comes to blogging. So I am way behind! One of the highlights of the summer was that my nephew Nate was in the play The Secret Garden in West Yellowstone. He plays the part of Collin Craven. He was AMAZING! We are so proud of him!

The kids loved watching him! They just think he is sooo cool!

We went to Logan a couple of weeks ago to meet up with my sister while she was down there. While we were there my sisters good friend Angie (who is an awesome photographer as you can tell) was nice enough to take some pictures of my girls and my sisters boys. They turned out great! I cant believe that she is done with kindergarten and off to 1st grade already. She has done so good! She scored in the top 5 in her school for the IRI testing. We are SO proud of her!!

She had her last dance recital in May. She did a great job!! Thanks to the family who came to watch!

At her last dancing lesson she was awarded with a home practice trophy and a 4 year award. She loves dancing!!

We had a great memorial weekend. We went to Bear Lake and had a good time with our families. My Mom, Jordyn, and I drove up to the cemeteries. It was such a great day. Here is a video from Jordyns dance performance the other day. They haven't learned all of it yet, but here is the part they do know! She did a great job! She is still working on spinning on her head. She practices everyday, and everyday she seems to spin longer and longer!

So I was going to post these a few weeks ago and spaced it! Jordyn had a dance showcase a few weeks ago. Grandma and Grandpa Crane came down and brought along Dylan (cousin) so they were able to watch her dance. Rachelle, Kris, and Tati also came. It was fun having them there. After she danced Grandma and Rachelle went and got Jordyns some flowers and totally made her day! Thanks guys she loved them!!

Allie is so grown up lately. She will be going to pre-school this fall. She is so excited and asks me everyday if she can go. Her and Jordyn are best buds (most of the time) and they play together all day long!

Jordyn has been really into football these days! She loves to play catch with her dad! As most of you may know Jordyn has a major phobia of dogs. Well just recently she has decided to be brave around them. We went to a few of our friends houses who all have dogs and she loves them now! She isn't scared at all. Now she wants a dog. We are very proud of her for over-coming her fear!

Her teacher brought the wrong c.d. so they didn't have the music. They did the performance without music. It was kind of frustrating but the did REALLY good!!

Our Thanksgiving weekend started out in Bear Lake with the Crane Fam. We had a nice Thanksgiving! We ate a lot of yummy food. The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins. We played games and laughed our heads off! It was fun. We are so blessed to have such great families! We love you all!!

The grand kids helped Grandma make her delicious rolls. It was so cute! She definitely had a lot of help!

On Saturday I went to my parents house. My mom made me a birthday cake and I got some cool presents! Thanks guys!

On Sunday my mom, the girls, and I took a quick trip to Logan to see my sister and her family while they were there. Like I said it was quick but well worth it. The kids were so sad that they had to say good bye so soon but they had fun. It was good to see them!

Last Thursday the girls and I went to Disney on ice! I (like and idiot) forgot my camera. Which was very hard for me since I LOVE taking pictures!! The day before Jordyns birthday we got together with my parents and had a little party. She got spoiled of course! She had so much fun though.

The Twilight Saga...

So I just finished the fourth book in the Twilight series. I just have to say that I hardly ever read, and in less than a month I have read four really thick books! They were all so good . I am ADDICTED! I will admit it. I was hooked from day one. They put a spell on you I swear. I couldn't put it down! Stephanie Meyer is absolutely amazing to me. To come up with something so different and intriguing. Weston thinks I'm crazy and also thinks that I am in love with Edward. I think he is relieved that I am done with them!

Twilight the movie comes out November 21st and I cant wait! I will be there first thing! =) Like I said, I'm ADDICTED!!!

Our Trip to St. George

We were able to ride down with my parents to St. George for the weekend. My nephew Peyton was getting baptised and D.J. was getting blessed. It was nice to be there for that. We had a lot of fun!

The first night we got there we all went to dinner. Afterwards we found some pretty cool picture taking spots. It was so much fun!

The lizard story
We were walking outside of the condo and we spotted a tiny lizard running around on the sidewalk. Jordyn and Allie started chasing it around trying to catch it. Allie tried to grab a hold of his tail and it slipped away. So Jordyn saw his tail and grabbed it but it was only a tail. She freaked out. They pulled his tail off! It was pretty funny. Allie was so mad that she couldn't catch that lizard!

Jordyns First Day Of Kindergarten!

Jordyn had her first day of kindergarten today. She woke up so excited! I woke up excited for her, but also kind of sad. I cant believe how fast time goes by. It seems like yesterday she was just my little baby. They are both getting so big lately! Sorry to get all cheezy!!

I dropped her off and had to hold my tears until I got to the car! I thought I was pretty geeky for getting emotional but I looked around at the other moms and they were all having the same problem!

They had us meet them at the school afterwards to make sure they got on the right bus. So she got to ride the bus home which she loved!

Allie and I went home and waited for Jordyn to get there . While we were waiting she was pulling some pretty silly faces! So of course I had to take pictures!!

She couldn't wait to have her sister home again!

She got off the bus and said, "Mom my bus driver is just crazy, she just drove all over and dropped all of the other kids off and I was thinking, when is it my turn and when we got here I said yes finally!!". She is so dramatic sometimes!!

We are so proud of her. She is getting so big and acting so grown up lately. She had a great day and got to meet up with some of her friends from her preschool. She was really excited about that! She has a really nice teacher and Jordyn just loves her already!

Me and Jordyn went to the Kellie Pickler concert last week. We had so much fun! My parents, Jared and Wendy, Marcia, and Amanda went also. We had great seats on the front row in the balcony. We could see so good without anyone standing in front of us! She was awesome! She has an amazing voice!

I didn't take very many pictures. My camera didn't work so well in there!

Jordyn just loves her! She was so excited. She called my sister after the show and said "kimmie guess what, I got to see Kellie Picker in real life, and I got a kellie picker shirt with kellie picker on it"! Thats how she says it! Kellie Picker!

Grandma Crane bought Jordyn a t-shirt and she just loves it!!

Allie turned 3 on July 16th

She is getting so grown up and looking like a big girl now! It makes me a little sad. I cant believe she is 3 already! She is so much fun and has us laughing all of the time!!

We had a fun day! Me and the girls hung out all day. We played at the park FOREVER and went and had snow cones and then played some more!

We didn't have a big party this year. It was just us, but we had fun!!

So most of you know that my sister and her boys have been in Idaho Falls for the last 3 weeks or so. It was SO much fun! We did a lot of stuff considering we had to haul around 4 kids and a newborn. The kids were so good and got a long so well. They are best friends! I took way to many pictures and had to post almost all of them because I couldn't leave any out! I had another nephew born today, June 5th. Everything went good. Hes just a little guy. We went to see him today. He's so cute and sweet. Congrats to Brian , Jen, and Big sister Tay-tay. Its so exciting having 2 new babies in our family and even more exciting that I wasn't the one having them! I'm just the aunt who gets to spoil them! Heeheehee....=)

We have some new animals at our house. Westons parents brought the girls a baby goat. He's funny. Jordyn doesn't really like him (well she doesn't really like any animal). Allie named him Bucky. She liked him a lot at first. Then one day when she was out playing with him and he pushed her with his head. I dont think it hurt her too bad. He was just playing, but now when I ask her if she wants to go play with the goat she says, "No, Bucky pushes me!".
We also have a mini horse at our house right now. We have a neighbor down the street who raises mini horses and Weston stopped by there one day to ask about them. He said that we could take one of his home to see if the girls would like one or if they would lose interest. Once again Jordyn wont even go next to it and Allie wanted to ride it! She is a really nice horse and she is so cute! I love the blonde hair!
Her name is Miss Sassy and the name fits!

We had to make separate pens for the goat and the horse because the goat would follow the horse everywhere and get in it's face. Finally the horse had enough and was running around trying to bite the goat! It wasn't funny at the time, but now when I think about it I just start laughing!!

The girls also have 3 bunnies. Tabby is the one in this picture and one of the only animals Jordyn will get close to!

My sister had her baby today! Everything went good. He is so cute. He was 8'2 (hes is a big boy) and 19in. long ( I think). Anyway I'm a proud aunt so I had to put him on here! Field Trip to the Zoo!

We went on a feild trip with Jordyns preschool class last week. It was fun! Once again I took way too many pictures! I think i'm obsessed! Anyway. There is a funny story about the picture above. Josh is the little boy putting his hand above Jordyns head. He is the one who once tried to kiss Jordyn at school (or so she says). Anyway, It was a really hot that day and Jordyn didn't want to get in the picture. When I finally got her to, Josh put his hand above her head to shade her from the sun! I was laughing so hard! Her teacher was telling me how all of the boys in the class want to marry Jordyn! AHHH it's starting already!! What are we going to do with her?!?!?

Allie was right in the middle of it all!

Jordyn had her preschool graduation last night. It was really cute! They sang a TON of songs (which we have heard over and over again at home!) Her teacher, Mrs. Hunter made all of the girls head bows and the boys hats to wear. It was cute. Then she gave them each their own scrapbook that she made! It's really cute too and has a lot of cute pictures in it. She is a GREAT teacher!

Jordyns Dance Recital

I just wanted to let everyone know that Jordyns dance recital is May 14th. This is her last performance of the year. The recital starts at 6:00, but she is in act 2 which starts at 7:00. It is at the Civic Auditorium in Idaho Falls. I think it costs $5.00 to get in (kind of a rip off i know). Anyway just wanted to let you all know that you are invited and we would love to see you there!
